Cannot attach my .NET app

description

Hello there,

First of all, Chronos looks really promising : keep up the good work !

I might have an issue on my side : my current project, which is a fully native .NET 4.0 app, does not "connect" to Chronos in its current state.

I've tracked down the issue to this point :
  • Versions <= 1.0 of my app, compiled to one sole .EXE file with VS 2012 express > no problem
  • Versions >= 1.1 of my app, compiled to 2 DLLs + 1 .EXE file with VS 2013 express > Chronos launches the app successfuly, but does not "connect" to it, i.e. no tab with the name of my app and the performance info is created on the main Chronos dialog.
NB : Versions 1.0 to 1.2 require .NET 3.0; version 1.3 requires .NET 4.0

Any idea of what could go wrong ?

Thanks in advance,

-Z440

PS : You can find the current version of my app (1.3) there.

It turned out my app being compiled with the "Any CPU" profile caused Chronos to incorrectly detect the host platform.

Andrei told me that issue should be fixed for the next release.

On my side, as a workaround, I added the x86 profile to my compiler and created a specific x86 release that works nicely with Chronos.
